Star Squire Away!

[03.05.08]

Yes, hiddendeadly.com has been silent for a long time now, but not inactive. Hidden Deadly Productions is moving into by far its biggest project yet. After two shorts, we’ve decided to tackle an original feature length sci-fi action comedy, Star Squire vs. the Destructo-Ray.

By movie standards, this will be an ultra-low-budget production. Still, it’s a huge undertaking for our two-person enterprise. So, we need more people, and we figured a way to get more people involved (both financially and creatively) is to show them what we’ve got up our garish spandex sleeves (see the above image). So, really, our next project is another short: a 10-minute “pilot trailer” of Star Squire. Within days we will unveil it to a gathering of our wonderful cast who stood in a brisk wind on a cliff on the foggy side of San Fran one year back. Next we’ll beat the bushes for would-be co-conspirators and share the trailer with them, and before long we’ll make it available here.

Until we get more people involved, we’re keeping a lot of the project details under our silly space helmets (again, see the above image). But soon enough, we’ll be giving you some tastes of the madness we have in mind: images, quotes, clips, and production updates. Stay tuned.
